Mikey Mixes….I need suggestions

I have transferred my blog over to blogspot for convenience purposes. Please follow me there and update your links to

I am addicted to music.  If you’ve spent any amount of time with me you’ve heard of Mikey Mixes.  Since ninth grade (when we got our first CD Burner) I’ve been making cd length mixes.  The count is now 158 Mikey Mixes.  these are 80 minute playlists that are very eclectic… Everything from the Them song of Zoobalee Zoo to Snoop Dog, and Norah Jones.  Mostly though it’s like a journal for how my taste in music has evolved.

The reason I post this is i’ve been thinking of a new format to the blog.  I want to post these playlists….but am not sure of the best way.  Start from the begining…or start with the most recent.   If any of you have any thoughts…if you’re interested or not…etc.

I’d love your thoughts.

Starting at the beginning will make it easier. I’m excited to hear them!!

  2. Nathan said,

Mix it up. I’d like to hear the thought behind what got included on each playlist.

  3. Karie said,

I’d like a mix of old and new because you have SO MUCH great new music. I CAN’T WAIT!!!

  4. Mom said,

I’d go for the old stuff — because I don’t know the new stuff. Little history might also be good. Wish you could make a living doing this because you love it so much.

  5. Megan said,

I’m proud to say, I still have some Mikey mixes in my collection, they are super fun.
And as Maria would say, “Let’s start at the very beginning, a very good place to start.”
